Introduction to Open Access for Staff In-Person

Please register for this event in the HR Development Calendar.

Open Access is a rapidly evolving area of publishing.  According to Universities New Zealand (2021), research articles published Open Access can have up to 52% higher citation rates, than their closed counterparts. Open Access research outputs tend to receive more diverse citations too (Huang et al, 2024). Come along to this session for an introduction to Open Access, Creative Commons Licensing, Read and Publishing Agreements, and how this applies to the dissemination of your research.

These workshops will be run in May, August, and October. Please register via the HR Development Calendar.
