Introduction to Open Access for Staff Online

Audience: Academics & researchers

Open access is a rapidly evolving area of publishing.  According to Universities New Zealand (2021), research articles published open access can have up to 52% higher citation rates, than their closed counterparts. Open access research outputs tend to receive more diverse citations too (Huang et al, 2024). Come along to this session for an introduction to open access, Creative Commons licensing, Read & Publish agreements, and how this applies to the dissemination of your research.

This workshop will be run again on 23 October.
